Andy Burnham

– President and Chairman of the Board of Our Brother’s Home (“OBH”): Andy is a pastor and elder at Peninsula Bible Church, located in Palo Alto, California (“PBC”), where he has been involved in the recovery ministry since it began in 2002. Andy provides general oversight of PBC's recovery ministry and helps with the ministry's ongoing counseling and teaching needs. He also enjoys ministering to addicts and alcoholics on the golf course.

Ed Woodhall
Ed was an elder of PBC for 20 years. For years, Ed has been actively leading men’s discipleship groups where men in recovery mainstream with other mature Christian men in the larger body of Christ. God prepared Ed for recovery ministry by having him employ many addicts and alcoholics over 40 years of operating a body shop business.


Rick Thrasher

Board member: Rick is an entrepreneur and seasoned IT expert. Clean and sober for over 25 years, Rick has attended PBC since 1976 and has served the Body in ministries including children's, adult, missions, and recovery.


Bruce Maez 

Board member: Bruce served as the House Manager for OBH during its first three years of operation, volunteering his free time to minister to the house residents in recovery. He regularly hosts at PBC’s Friday evening and Sunday morning recovery services. Bruce's compassion towards recovering addicts and alcoholics comes from his years of recovery. He and his wife Lucy attend PBC.


Paul Wagner

Board member, Treasurer

Paul is an accountant with expertise in land development. Paul and his wife Thea have been attending PBC since 1998. Paul has been involved in men's retreats. Bible studies and recovery ministry including alcohol and drug recovery and sexual integrity.

Dave Thorne

Board member: Executive Director of drug treatment center in San Jose.  12 years sobriety. Two certificates in drug counseling, certified clinical supervisor. Graduate U.C. Berkeley drug and alcohol studies program.


Kip Farmer

Kip is employed by Hewlett-Packard and has been with the company for 30+ years.   He and his wife Patti have attended PBC for over 35 years and participated in multiple ministries including R&R, Deacon, Infant care, ushering, and others.
